About Justin Bailiff

Based in Utica, NY, Justin Bailiff works as a hardwood flooring contractor. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 4 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include herringbone pattern floors, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, transition strips and thresholds, wide-plank flooring and solid oak plank installation. Justin Bailiff is also listed for carpet installation, countertop installation and hardwood floor refinishing.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Besides Utica, homeowners in New Hartford, Whitesboro and Little Falls can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, Google Pay, PayPal, Square cash app and Zelle. To get started, send Justin Bailiff a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
