Like a Puzzle Flooring

About Like a Puzzle Flooring

Based in Odenton, MD, Like a Puzzle Flooring works as a hardwood floor installer. The business has been operating for 23 years. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

On their profile, Like a Puzzle Flooring lists install type: laminate, luxury vinyl flooring, engineered hardwood and solid wood; property type: residential and commercial.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.
