About Matthew Douglas

Matthew Douglas provides handyman work in Houston, TX. The business has been operating for 8 years with a team of 2. Most handyman calls start with a quick walkthrough of the task list, followed by a check of the tools and materials each item needs. Jobs are then worked in a sensible order, with dust control and cleanup at the end, leaving the homeowner with finished repairs instead of half-done weekend projects.

Common requests for handyman work include caulking tubs and sinks, ceiling fan swaps, mounting televisions, grab bar installation and hanging shelves and mirrors. Matthew Douglas is also listed for dishwasher installation, fitness equipment assembly, furniture assembly and garbage disposal repair.

A running list of small fixes that never seems to get shorter is the most common reason homeowners book a handyman visit and hand off several tasks at once. Mention whether parts such as light fixtures, shelves, curtain rods, or cabinet hardware are already purchased or will need to be picked up before the visit. Travel distance, the complexity of each job, and whether a task needs a second trip for special-order parts are the main drivers behind a handyman quote.

Besides Houston, homeowners in Katy, Cypress and Bellaire can reach out for handyman work. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Cash, Check, PayPal, Venmo and Zelle. To get started, send Matthew Douglas a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
