McArthur Flooring and Maintenance

About McArthur Flooring and Maintenance

McArthur Flooring and Maintenance is a hardwood flooring contractor serving Oviedo, FL. A team of 3, the business has been operating for 18 years. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include old carpet removal before install, nail-down floors over plywood subfloors, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, unfinished floors finished on site and stair tread and riser installation. McArthur Flooring and Maintenance is also listed for furniture delivery and junk removal.

Allergies, pets, or a desire for a floor that can be sanded and refinished later lead many homeowners to replace soft flooring with real wood. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.
