About McIntosh construction llc

Based in Woodside, NY, McIntosh construction llc works as a hardwood flooring contractor. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 11 years. Homeowners choose between solid hardwood, which can be sanded many times, and engineered boards, which handle basements and concrete slabs better. The installer helps match product to the space, lets the wood acclimate inside the home, and plans layouts that avoid awkward slivers at doorways and hallways.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Woodside include solid oak plank installation, unfinished floors finished on site, stair tread and riser installation, herringbone pattern floors and subfloor leveling. McIntosh construction llc is also listed for cabinet installation, carpet installation, countertop installation and door repair.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Customers in Woodside and nearby areas such as Sunnyside, Jackson Heights and Maspeth can request a quote. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Cash and Square cash app. To get started, send McIntosh construction llc a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
