MDZ Flooring

About MDZ Flooring

MDZ Flooring is a hardwood floor installer serving Wylie, TX. The business has been operating for 4 years with a team of 2. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include stair tread and riser installation, herringbone pattern floors, solid oak plank installation, wide-plank flooring and engineered hardwood over concrete. MDZ Flooring is also listed for hardwood floor refinishing.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Besides Wylie, homeowners in Sachse, Lavon and Plano can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Posted hours are Monday to Saturday. To get started, send MDZ Flooring a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
