About Melhist Company

Melhist Company provides handyman work in Brooklyn, NY. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 11 years. Most handyman calls start with a quick walkthrough of the task list, followed by a check of the tools and materials each item needs. Jobs are then worked in a sensible order, with dust control and cleanup at the end, leaving the homeowner with finished repairs instead of half-done weekend projects.

Typical jobs for handyman work in Brooklyn include weatherstripping doors, grab bar installation, caulking tubs and sinks, hanging shelves and mirrors and mounting televisions. Melhist Company is also listed for cabinet installation, carpet cleaning, dishwasher installation and door repair.

A running list of small fixes that never seems to get shorter is the most common reason homeowners book a handyman visit and hand off several tasks at once. List every task in one message with a photo of each item, so the visit can be planned properly and the right materials brought along on the first trip. Handyman pricing usually depends on the number of tasks on the list, the time each one takes, and whether materials must be supplied or are already on hand.

Besides Brooklyn, homeowners in Staten Island, Rockaway Park and Manhattan can reach out for handyman work. Posted hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 am to 11:59 pm. Accepted payment methods include Cash and Zelle. To get started, send Melhist Company a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
