Based in Elk City, OK, Melissa Pruitt works as a handyman service. The business has been operating for 56 years. Around Elk City, homeowners often use handyman help for the in-between jobs: a door that no longer latches, a cracked tile near a threshold, a wobbly stair railing, or new hardware on old cabinets. The work tends to be quick, practical, and focused on making things function properly and look tidy again.

Typical jobs for handyman work in Elk City include fixing sticky drawers, small fence board repairs, drywall patching, weatherstripping doors and caulking tubs and sinks. Melissa Pruitt is also listed for cabinet installation, dishwasher installation, door repair and fitness equipment assembly.

Doors that will not close, dents in drywall, peeling bathroom caulk, and shelves that wobble under weight are typical triggers for a general repair call. Include ceiling heights, the wall type if known, and access notes like pets, parking, or gate codes so the visit can keep moving without delays. Handyman pricing usually depends on the number of tasks on the list, the time each one takes, and whether materials must be supplied or are already on hand.
