About MFX Tile

MFX Tile provides hardwood floor installation in San Luis Obispo, CA. It has been in business for 6 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include stair tread and riser installation, subfloor leveling, old carpet removal before install, engineered hardwood over concrete and solid oak plank installation. MFX Tile is also listed for carpet installation, handyman, hardwood floor refinishing and interior painting.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Share the target timeline, any known squeaks or soft spots, and how rooms connect so transitions to tile, vinyl, or carpet can be planned ahead of time. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Besides San Luis Obispo, homeowners in Pismo Beach, Grover Beach and Arroyo Grande can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Posted hours are Monday to Saturday. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check and Zelle. Request a quote from MFX Tile on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
