About Mike's Trendline Flooring & Handyman Services

Mike's Trendline Flooring & Handyman Services is a hardwood flooring contractor serving Palisades, NY. The business has been operating for 9 years with a team of 4. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Palisades include unfinished floors finished on site, stair tread and riser installation, nail-down floors over plywood subfloors, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall and subfloor leveling. Mike's Trendline Flooring & Handyman Services is also listed for carpet installation, handyman, hardwood floor refinishing and interior painting.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Besides Palisades, homeowners in Dobbs Ferry, Hastings On Hudson and Ardsley can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Accepted payment methods include Cash, PayPal, Venmo and Zelle.
