About MJF construcción

Based in Rodeo, CA, MJF construcción works as a hardwood floor installer. A team of 5, the business has been operating for 11 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, engineered hardwood over concrete, wide-plank flooring, stair tread and riser installation and floating hardwood floors. MJF construcción is also listed for cabinet installation, carpet installation, countertop installation and door repair.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Besides Rodeo, homeowners in Crockett, Hercules and Pinole can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Cash, Check, PayPal, Venmo and Zelle. To get started, send MJF construcción a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
