Mr. Fix It

About Mr. Fix It

Based in Middle Island, NY, Mr. Fix It works as a handyman service. The business has been operating for 4 years. Around Middle Island, homeowners often use handyman help for the in-between jobs: a door that no longer latches, a cracked tile near a threshold, a wobbly stair railing, or new hardware on old cabinets. The work tends to be quick, practical, and focused on making things function properly and look tidy again.

Typical jobs for handyman work in Middle Island include caulking tubs and sinks, weatherstripping doors, small fence board repairs, ceiling fan swaps and baseboard and trim touch-ups. Mr. Fix It is also listed for cabinet installation, dishwasher installation, door repair and fitness equipment assembly.

Moving in, preparing a home for sale, or getting ready for holiday guests often surfaces loose fixtures, scuffed walls, dripping caulk lines, and doors that stick. List every task in one message with a photo of each item, so the visit can be planned properly and the right materials brought along on the first trip. Travel distance, the complexity of each job, and whether a task needs a second trip for special-order parts are the main drivers behind a handyman quote.

Customers in Middle Island and nearby areas such as Miller Place, Coram and Ridge can request a quote. Posted hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Cash, Check and Zelle. To get started, send Mr. Fix It a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
