Nailset

About Nailset

Based in East Setauket, NY, Nailset works as a handyman service. A team of 4, the business has been operating for 11 years. Handyman work covers the small repairs and installs that pile up around a house but rarely justify calling a specialty trade. A single visit often bundles several items, such as patching a wall, rehanging a door, and mounting a shelf, so the homeowner clears a whole list in one trip instead of scheduling several.

Typical jobs for handyman work in East Setauket include replacing light fixtures, grab bar installation, ceiling fan swaps, mounting televisions and weatherstripping doors. Nailset is also listed for cabinet installation and finish carpentry.

Doors that will not close, dents in drywall, peeling bathroom caulk, and shelves that wobble under weight are typical triggers for a general repair call. List every task in one message with a photo of each item, so the visit can be planned properly and the right materials brought along on the first trip. Travel distance, the complexity of each job, and whether a task needs a second trip for special-order parts are the main drivers behind a handyman quote.

Besides East Setauket, homeowners in Stony Brook, Port Jefferson and Saint James can reach out for handyman work. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, Venmo and Zelle. To get started, send Nailset a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
