Nakayama Inc.

About Nakayama Inc.

Based in Round Lake, IL, Nakayama Inc. works as a hardwood floor installer. The business has been operating for 12 years with a team of 3. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include old carpet removal before install, engineered hardwood over concrete, solid oak plank installation, wide-plank flooring and nail-down floors over plywood subfloors. Nakayama Inc. is also listed for hardwood floor refinishing.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Besides Round Lake, homeowners in Round Lake Beach, Ingleside and Grayslake can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Posted hours are Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 am to 11:59 pm. To get started, send Nakayama Inc. a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
