New Floors & Construction

About New Floors & Construction

New Floors & Construction is a hardwood flooring contractor serving Flower Mound, TX. The business has been operating for 13 years with a team of 10. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include engineered hardwood over concrete, wide-plank flooring, solid oak plank installation, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall and stair tread and riser installation. New Floors & Construction is also listed for carpet installation, countertop installation, exterior painting and hardwood floor refinishing.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Share the target timeline, any known squeaks or soft spots, and how rooms connect so transitions to tile, vinyl, or carpet can be planned ahead of time. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.
