North Luxe, LLC

About North Luxe, LLC

Based in Latham, NY, North Luxe, LLC works as a tile installer. The business has been operating for 3 years with a team of 3. Good tile starts under the surface. In wet areas, the installer uses cement backer board and a waterproofing layer before setting any tile. On floors, the base is checked for flex and flatness so tiles and grout lines do not crack later, and large-format tile gets extra attention to lippage.

Typical jobs for tile installation in Latham include tub surround tiling, shower niche installation, fireplace surrounds, shower wall tile and tile over cement backer board.

Cracked or loose tiles, crumbling grout, or water getting behind a shower wall are signs that tile needs repair or replacement before the damage spreads. Mention whether tile is already purchased, the planned height of wall tile, and whether the floor is a concrete slab or wood framing. Showers and mosaics take more time than open floors. Natural stone sealing, custom niches, and many cuts around fixtures and outlets raise the price.
