About Our DreamFlooring LLC

Our DreamFlooring LLC is a floor refinishing contractor serving Elmwood Park, IL. The business has been operating for 22 years with a team of 6. Not every floor needs a full sand. Floors with light surface wear can often be buffed and recoated, while deep scratches, gray water damage, or a color change call for sanding to bare wood. Damaged boards may be replaced and blended in before finishing.

Common requests for hardwood floor refinishing include gap filling between boards, water-based polyurethane finish, buffing out surface scratches, buff and recoat and border and inlay refinishing. Our DreamFlooring LLC is also listed for carpet installation and interior painting.

Gray or bare spots in traffic areas, deep scratches, and a finish that no longer repels water are common signs floors need refinishing. Mention pets, when the rooms can be fully emptied, and whether you prefer a water-based or oil-based finish, if known. Cost depends on square footage, floor condition, whether stain is applied, the number of finish coats, and any board repairs or stairs.
