Painter and Hammer

About Painter and Hammer

Based in Brooklyn, NY, Painter and Hammer works as a handyman. The business has been operating for 4 years. Around Brooklyn, homeowners often use handyman help for the in-between jobs: a door that no longer latches, a cracked tile near a threshold, a wobbly stair railing, or new hardware on old cabinets. The work tends to be quick, practical, and focused on making things function properly and look tidy again.

Typical jobs for handyman work in Brooklyn include weatherstripping doors, baseboard and trim touch-ups, loose door hinge repair, grab bar installation and cabinet hardware replacement. Painter and Hammer is also listed for cabinet installation, dishwasher installation, door repair and fitness equipment assembly.

A running list of small fixes that never seems to get shorter is the most common reason homeowners book a handyman visit and hand off several tasks at once. Include ceiling heights, the wall type if known, and access notes like pets, parking, or gate codes so the visit can keep moving without delays. Handyman pricing usually depends on the number of tasks on the list, the time each one takes, and whether materials must be supplied or are already on hand.
