Preston Chmela

About Preston Chmela

Based in Kimball, SD, Preston Chmela works as a handyman. It has been in business for 6 years. Most handyman calls start with a quick walkthrough of the task list, followed by a check of the tools and materials each item needs. Jobs are then worked in a sensible order, with dust control and cleanup at the end, leaving the homeowner with finished repairs instead of half-done weekend projects.

Typical jobs for handyman work in Kimball include small fence board repairs, fixing sticky drawers, weatherstripping doors, furniture assembly and grab bar installation. Preston Chmela is also listed for cabinet installation, dishwasher installation, door repair and fitness equipment assembly.

Doors that will not close, dents in drywall, peeling bathroom caulk, and shelves that wobble under weight are typical triggers for a general repair call. Mention whether parts such as light fixtures, shelves, curtain rods, or cabinet hardware are already purchased or will need to be picked up before the visit. Travel distance, the complexity of each job, and whether a task needs a second trip for special-order parts are the main drivers behind a handyman quote.

Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Cash, Check, PayPal and Venmo. To get started, send Preston Chmela a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
