About Roundy's General Handyman Services

Roundy's General Handyman Services is a hardwood floor installer serving Gloucester, VA. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 16 years. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Gloucester include stair tread and riser installation, wide-plank flooring, herringbone pattern floors, floating hardwood floors and engineered hardwood over concrete. Roundy's General Handyman Services is also listed for artificial turf installation, cabinet installation, carpet cleaning and carpet installation.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Besides Gloucester, homeowners in Shacklefords, Williamsburg and Toano can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Posted hours are Monday to Sunday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, Venmo and Zelle. Request a quote from Roundy's General Handyman Services on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
