Scibor Home Services

About Scibor Home Services

Based in Cortlandt Manor, NY, Scibor Home Services works as a hardwood floor installer. The business has been operating for 7 years. Homeowners choose between solid hardwood, which can be sanded many times, and engineered boards, which handle basements and concrete slabs better. The installer helps match product to the space, lets the wood acclimate inside the home, and plans layouts that avoid awkward slivers at doorways and hallways.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include old carpet removal before install, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, engineered hardwood over concrete, herringbone pattern floors and nail-down floors over plywood subfloors. Scibor Home Services is also listed for interior painting.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Besides Cortlandt Manor, homeowners in Peekskill, Mohegan Lake and Buchanan can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Posted hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, PayPal, Venmo and Zelle. Request a quote from Scibor Home Services on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
