About Silverstone Landscaping & Tree service

Based in Salinas, CA, Silverstone Landscaping & Tree service works as a hardwood flooring contractor. A team of 5, the business has been operating for 14 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include engineered hardwood over concrete, floating hardwood floors, old carpet removal before install, stair tread and riser installation and subfloor leveling. Silverstone Landscaping & Tree service is also listed for exterior painting and gardening.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Share the target timeline, any known squeaks or soft spots, and how rooms connect so transitions to tile, vinyl, or carpet can be planned ahead of time. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.
