About SJ Flooring LLC

Based in Hephzibah, GA, SJ Flooring LLC works as a hardwood floor installer. A team of 5, the business has been operating for 30 years. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include floating hardwood floors, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, engineered hardwood over concrete, subfloor leveling and old carpet removal before install. SJ Flooring LLC is also listed for carpet installation.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.
