About Sloan Roofing LLC

Based in Elgin, SC, Sloan Roofing LLC works as a hardwood floor installer. A team of 3, the business has been operating for 11 years. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, stair tread and riser installation, engineered hardwood over concrete, old carpet removal before install and unfinished floors finished on site. Sloan Roofing LLC is also listed for carpet installation, countertop installation, handyman and hardwood floor refinishing.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Share the target timeline, any known squeaks or soft spots, and how rooms connect so transitions to tile, vinyl, or carpet can be planned ahead of time. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.
