Sonny Floors

About Sonny Floors

Based in Benicia, CA, Sonny Floors works as a hardwood flooring contractor. The business has been operating for 19 years with a team of 4. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Benicia include herringbone pattern floors, old carpet removal before install, engineered hardwood over concrete, solid oak plank installation and nail-down floors over plywood subfloors.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Besides Benicia, homeowners in Vallejo, Crockett and American Canyon can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Cash, Check, Credit card, Google Pay and PayPal. To get started, send Sonny Floors a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
