SOS Handy

About SOS Handy

Based in New York, NY, SOS Handy works as a handyman service. It has been in business for 4 years. Around New York, homeowners often use handyman help for the in-between jobs: a door that no longer latches, a cracked tile near a threshold, a wobbly stair railing, or new hardware on old cabinets. The work tends to be quick, practical, and focused on making things function properly and look tidy again.

Common requests for handyman work include furniture assembly, cabinet hardware replacement, fixing sticky drawers, grab bar installation and weatherstripping doors. SOS Handy is also listed for dishwasher installation, door repair, furniture assembly and garbage disposal repair.

Moving in, preparing a home for sale, or getting ready for holiday guests often surfaces loose fixtures, scuffed walls, dripping caulk lines, and doors that stick. List every task in one message with a photo of each item, so the visit can be planned properly and the right materials brought along on the first trip. Travel distance, the complexity of each job, and whether a task needs a second trip for special-order parts are the main drivers behind a handyman quote.

Customers in New York and nearby areas such as Astoria, Long Island City and Sunnyside can request a quote. To get started, send SOS Handy a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
