Southern Plank Flooring Co.

About Southern Plank Flooring Co.

Southern Plank Flooring Co. is a hardwood flooring contractor serving Jefferson, SC. It has been in business for 1 year. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Jefferson include unfinished floors finished on site, old carpet removal before install, nail-down floors over plywood subfloors, solid oak plank installation and wide-plank flooring. Southern Plank Flooring Co. is also listed for hardwood floor refinishing.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.
