About Stiles Renovation and Supplies

Stiles Renovation and Supplies provides hardwood floor installation in Orlando, FL. The business has been operating for 5 years with a team of 2. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include subfloor leveling, old carpet removal before install, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, floating hardwood floors and herringbone pattern floors. Stiles Renovation and Supplies is also listed for carpet installation, countertop installation, exterior painting and handyman.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.
