Stone & Tile Creations

About Stone & Tile Creations

Based in South Gate, CA, Stone & Tile Creations works as a tile contractor. A team of 3, the business has been operating for 6 years. Good tile starts under the surface. In wet areas, the installer uses cement backer board and a waterproofing layer before setting any tile. On floors, the base is checked for flex and flatness so tiles and grout lines do not crack later, and large-format tile gets extra attention to lippage.

Typical jobs for tile installation in South Gate include large-format porcelain floors, cracked tile replacement, tile over cement backer board, bathroom floor tile and shower wall tile. Stone & Tile Creations is also listed for carpet installation, countertop installation and hardwood floor refinishing.

Hollow sounds when tapping a tile floor or mold along grout lines in a shower often mean the installation underneath needs attention. Mention whether tile is already purchased, the planned height of wall tile, and whether the floor is a concrete slab or wood framing. Showers and mosaics take more time than open floors. Natural stone sealing, custom niches, and many cuts around fixtures and outlets raise the price.

Besides South Gate, homeowners in Lynwood, Bell Gardens and Huntington Park can reach out for tile installation. To get started, send Stone & Tile Creations a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
