Straight & Narrow Construction

About Straight & Narrow Construction

Straight & Narrow Construction is a hardwood floor installer serving Missoula, MT. It has been in business for 10 years. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Missoula include old carpet removal before install, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, nail-down floors over plywood subfloors, subfloor leveling and stair tread and riser installation. Straight & Narrow Construction is also listed for carpet installation, countertop installation and hardwood floor refinishing.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Posted hours are Monday to Saturday, 12:00 am to 11:59 pm. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, Credit card and PayPal. Request a quote from Straight & Narrow Construction on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
