The Basement Kings of Atlanta

About The Basement Kings of Atlanta

The Basement Kings of Atlanta is a hardwood flooring contractor serving Marietta, GA. The business has been operating for 5 years with a team of 4. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include herringbone pattern floors, wide-plank flooring, transition strips and thresholds, engineered hardwood over concrete and stair tread and riser installation.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.
