THE GUY

About THE GUY

Based in Commack, NY, THE GUY works as a handyman service. The business has been operating for 10 years. Handyman work covers the small repairs and installs that pile up around a house but rarely justify calling a specialty trade. A single visit often bundles several items, such as patching a wall, rehanging a door, and mounting a shelf, so the homeowner clears a whole list in one trip instead of scheduling several.

Typical jobs for handyman work in Commack include mounting televisions, loose door hinge repair, hanging shelves and mirrors, small fence board repairs and cabinet hardware replacement. THE GUY is also listed for cabinet installation, dishwasher installation, door repair and garage door repair.

Doors that will not close, dents in drywall, peeling bathroom caulk, and shelves that wobble under weight are typical triggers for a general repair call. Mention whether parts such as light fixtures, shelves, curtain rods, or cabinet hardware are already purchased or will need to be picked up before the visit. Travel distance, the complexity of each job, and whether a task needs a second trip for special-order parts are the main drivers behind a handyman quote.

Customers in Commack and nearby areas such as East Northport, Kings Park and Smithtown can request a quote. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check and Zelle. To get started, send THE GUY a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
