The Hot Tub Guy

About The Hot Tub Guy

Based in Carnation, WA, The Hot Tub Guy works as a spa repair service. The business has been operating for 20 years. Leaks are one of the harder spa problems to track down. Water can escape from pump seals, unions, jet bodies, or cracked fittings hidden behind cabinet panels and insulation. Finding the source often means removing panels, adding dye to the water near suspected spots, and repairing only the failed connection.

Common requests for hot tub and spa repair include jet leak repair, ozonator replacement, flow switch replacement, cover replacement and spa pump replacement.

Dropping water levels, damp ground around the cabinet, or wet insulation behind the panels usually point to a plumbing leak. Note where the tub sits, such as a deck or patio, and how much clearance there is around the cabinet panels for access. Hidden leaks that take time to locate, parts availability for older or discontinued models, and difficult access around the cabinet raise the price.
