Thors Floors

About Thors Floors

Thors Floors provides hardwood floor installation in Mc Kees Rocks, PA. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 11 years. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Mc Kees Rocks include stair tread and riser installation, solid oak plank installation, transition strips and thresholds, wide-plank flooring and baseboard and shoe molding reinstall. Thors Floors is also listed for junk removal.

Allergies, pets, or a desire for a floor that can be sanded and refinished later lead many homeowners to replace soft flooring with real wood. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Besides Mc Kees Rocks, homeowners in Carnegie, Pittsburgh and Oakdale can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Posted hours are Monday to Sunday, 12:00 am to 11:59 pm. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, Samsung Pay and Venmo. To get started, send Thors Floors a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
