Tile & More

About Tile & More

Tile & More is a hardwood floor installer serving Anoka, MN. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 14 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include floating hardwood floors, subfloor leveling, old carpet removal before install, stair tread and riser installation and baseboard and shoe molding reinstall. Tile & More is also listed for artificial turf installation, cabinet installation, carpet cleaning and carpet installation.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.
