Tile whisperer

About Tile whisperer

Tile whisperer provides hardwood floor installation in Southaven, MS. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 27 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include subfloor leveling, herringbone pattern floors, wide-plank flooring, engineered hardwood over concrete and nail-down floors over plywood subfloors. Tile whisperer is also listed for carpet installation, countertop installation, hardwood floor refinishing and interior painting.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Customers in Southaven and nearby areas such as Nesbit, Olive Branch and Horn Lake can request a quote. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check and Credit card. To get started, send Tile whisperer a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
