Tuck the Other Guy

About Tuck the Other Guy

Based in Austin, TX, Tuck the Other Guy works as a handyman. It has been in business for 4 years. Around Austin, homeowners often use handyman help for the in-between jobs: a door that no longer latches, a cracked tile near a threshold, a wobbly stair railing, or new hardware on old cabinets. The work tends to be quick, practical, and focused on making things function properly and look tidy again.

Common requests for handyman work include fixing sticky drawers, replacing light fixtures, drywall patching, grab bar installation and hanging shelves and mirrors. Tuck the Other Guy is also listed for cabinet installation, dishwasher installation, door repair and fitness equipment assembly.

A running list of small fixes that never seems to get shorter is the most common reason homeowners book a handyman visit and hand off several tasks at once. Mention whether parts such as light fixtures, shelves, curtain rods, or cabinet hardware are already purchased or will need to be picked up before the visit. Travel distance, the complexity of each job, and whether a task needs a second trip for special-order parts are the main drivers behind a handyman quote.

Besides Austin, homeowners in Round Rock, Pflugerville and Cedar Park can reach out for handyman work. Accepted payment methods include Cash, PayPal, Square cash app and Venmo. Request a quote from Tuck the Other Guy on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
