About Walters Construction

Walters Construction is a hardwood flooring contractor serving Lancaster, OH. The business has been operating for 7 years with a team of 4. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Lancaster include solid oak plank installation, herringbone pattern floors, old carpet removal before install, wide-plank flooring and floating hardwood floors. Walters Construction is also listed for door repair and garage door repair.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Besides Lancaster, homeowners in Carroll, Amanda and Rushville can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Cash, Venmo and Zelle. Request a quote from Walters Construction on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
