About YCS Custom Floors LLC

YCS Custom Floors LLC provides hardwood floor installation in West Bloomfield, MI. The business has been operating for 14 years with a team of 6. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include engineered hardwood over concrete, floating hardwood floors, solid oak plank installation, subfloor leveling and nail-down floors over plywood subfloors. YCS Custom Floors LLC is also listed for hardwood floor refinishing.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Share the target timeline, any known squeaks or soft spots, and how rooms connect so transitions to tile, vinyl, or carpet can be planned ahead of time. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Customers in West Bloomfield and nearby areas such as Farmington, Walled Lake and Novi can request a quote. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, Credit card and Zelle. To get started, send YCS Custom Floors LLC a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
