1. Scarpetta floors
Based in Gilroy, CA, Scarpetta floors works as a hardwood flooring contractor. A team of 4, the business has been operating for 4 years. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces. Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Gilroy include herringbone pattern floors, solid oak plank installation, subfloor leveling, wide-plank flooring and stair tread and riser installation. Scarpetta floors is also listed for hardwood floor refinishing. Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor. Besides Gilroy, homeowners in San Martin, Morgan Hill and Aromas can reach out for hardwood floor installation.
