1. Las Finnest tile and stone
Las Finnest tile and stone is a tile contractor serving Simi Valley, CA. A team of 3, the business has been operating for 16 years. Tile work covers floors, walls, backsplashes, and showers. The installer prepares a flat, stable substrate, lays out the pattern to balance cuts at each wall, sets tile in thinset mortar, and finishes with grout and flexible caulk at inside corners and changes of plane where movement happens. Typical jobs for tile installation in Simi Valley include large-format porcelain floors, shower niche installation, fireplace surrounds, bathroom floor tile and kitchen backsplashes. Hollow sounds when tapping a tile floor or mold along grout lines in a shower often mean the installation underneath needs attention. Share room dimensions, the tile size and material chosen, and photos of the current surface. Note whether old tile must be removed before new work begins. Tile size, material, and pattern complexity drive labor on most tile jobs. Demolition, waterproofing, and substrate repair add to the scope and the price.
