1. Handy-Pro - Handyman and Remodeling Service
Handy-Pro - Handyman and Remodeling Service is a hardwood floor installer serving Clive, IA. It has been in business for 9 years. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces. Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Clive include unfinished floors finished on site, solid oak plank installation, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, herringbone pattern floors and old carpet removal before install. Handy-Pro - Handyman and Remodeling Service is also listed for handyman, interior painting and junk removal. Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Share the target timeline, any known squeaks or soft spots, and how rooms connect so transitions to tile, vinyl, or carpet can be planned ahead of time. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor. Besides Clive, homeowners in Urbandale, Waukee and Grimes can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Posted hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, Credit card, PayPal and Venmo. To get started, send Handy-Pro - Handyman and Remodeling Service a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
