1. RIC FLOORING INC
Based in Marion, IA, RIC FLOORING INC works as a floor refinishing contractor. A team of 4, the business has been operating for 11 years. Before any sanding in Marion, furniture comes out, adjoining rooms are sealed off, and dust containment goes up. After sanding and vacuuming, stain and finish coats go down with drying between each, and the rooms stay off limits until the finish has cured. Common requests for hardwood floor refinishing include stair tread refinishing, water damage board repair, refinishing floors found under old carpet, border and inlay refinishing and gap filling between boards. RIC FLOORING INC is also listed for carpet installation, furniture assembly, handyman and interior painting. Dark pet stains, boards that feel rough underfoot, and a dull finish that cleaning no longer brightens suggest a sand or recoat. Mention pets, when the rooms can be fully emptied, and whether you prefer a water-based or oil-based finish, if known. Cost depends on square footage, floor condition, whether stain is applied, the number of finish coats, and any board repairs or stairs. Customers in Marion and nearby areas such as Cedar Rapids and North Liberty can request a quote. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Cash, Check, Credit card, Google Pay and Samsung Pay.
