1. S&R Flooring
S&R Flooring provides hardwood floor installation in Centralia, IL. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 26 years. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces. Common requests for hardwood floor installation include solid oak plank installation, stair tread and riser installation, unfinished floors finished on site, nail-down floors over plywood subfloors and transition strips and thresholds. S&R Flooring is also listed for carpet installation and handyman. Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor. Posted hours are Monday to Saturday. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check and PayPal. Request a quote from S&R Flooring on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
