1. Metro-East Flooring Plus
Based in Mascoutah, IL, Metro-East Flooring Plus works as a hardwood floor installer. The business has been operating for 14 years with a team of 2. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls. Common requests for hardwood floor installation include old carpet removal before install, engineered hardwood over concrete, floating hardwood floors, unfinished floors finished on site and solid oak plank installation. Metro-East Flooring Plus is also listed for carpet installation. Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved. Besides Mascoutah, homeowners in Freeburg, Lebanon and O Fallon can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Posted hours are Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, Credit card and PayPal. To get started, send Metro-East Flooring Plus a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
