1. Murrell Flooring LLC
Based in New Palestine, IN, Murrell Flooring LLC works as a hardwood flooring contractor. A team of 4, the business has been operating for 36 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls. Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in New Palestine include unfinished floors finished on site, herringbone pattern floors, old carpet removal before install, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall and wide-plank flooring. Murrell Flooring LLC is also listed for carpet installation. Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor. Customers in New Palestine and nearby areas such as Greenfield, Beech Grove and Mccordsville can request a quote. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check and Zelle.
