1. Newby Flooring
Based in Stanford, KY, Newby Flooring works as a hardwood floor installer. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 6 years. Homeowners choose between solid hardwood, which can be sanded many times, and engineered boards, which handle basements and concrete slabs better. The installer helps match product to the space, lets the wood acclimate inside the home, and plans layouts that avoid awkward slivers at doorways and hallways. Common requests for hardwood floor installation include solid oak plank installation, engineered hardwood over concrete, herringbone pattern floors, wide-plank flooring and stair tread and riser installation. Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Share the target timeline, any known squeaks or soft spots, and how rooms connect so transitions to tile, vinyl, or carpet can be planned ahead of time. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved. Customers in Stanford and nearby areas such as Danville, Lancaster and Harrodsburg can request a quote. Accepted payment methods include Cash and Check.
