1. Christopher Poutre
Based in Groton, MA, Christopher Poutre works as a floor refinishing contractor. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 2 years. Refinishing restores worn hardwood by sanding away the old finish and surface damage, then applying stain if desired and several coats of protective finish. The result is a floor that looks new without replacing boards, since solid hardwood can usually be sanded multiple times over its life. Typical jobs for hardwood floor refinishing in Groton include refinishing floors found under old carpet, gap filling between boards, pet stain board replacement, oil-based polyurethane finish and stair tread refinishing. Homeowners often refinish when uncovering hardwood under old carpet, changing the floor color, or preparing a house for sale or new occupants. Mention pets, when the rooms can be fully emptied, and whether you prefer a water-based or oil-based finish, if known. Buff and recoat jobs cost less than full sanding, while color changes, pet stain repairs, and furniture moving add to the total. Customers in Groton and nearby areas such as Ayer, Pepperell and Shirley can request a quote. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Credit card, Venmo and Zelle. To get started, send Christopher Poutre a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
