1. The Vertical Connection, Inc.
The Vertical Connection, Inc. is a hardwood floor installer serving Columbia, MD. The business has been operating for 49 years with a team of 10. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces. Common requests for hardwood floor installation include unfinished floors finished on site, herringbone pattern floors, engineered hardwood over concrete, wide-plank flooring and nail-down floors over plywood subfloors. The Vertical Connection, Inc. is also listed for carpet installation. Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved. Besides Columbia, homeowners in Clarksville, Fulton and Ellicott City can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Posted hours are Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check and Credit card. Request a quote from The Vertical Connection, Inc. on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
