1. TopdawgKB
Based in Fernley, NV, TopdawgKB works as a hardwood floor installer. The business has been operating for 11 years with a team of 10. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces. Common requests for hardwood floor installation include stair tread and riser installation, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, unfinished floors finished on site, wide-plank flooring and nail-down floors over plywood subfloors. TopdawgKB is also listed for carpet installation, countertop installation and hardwood floor refinishing. Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved. To get started, send TopdawgKB a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
